Science and Technology Scholarship Programme for Grade 10 Students
Inspiring Grade 10 Scientific Talent
Poornaprajna Institute of Management, Udupi, under the Poornaprajna Centre for Popularization of Science and Technology, successfully organized a Science and Technology Scholarship Programme for Grade 10 students from different schools across Udupi District. The programme was conducted with the aim of identifying talented young students and encouraging them to develop a deeper interest in science, technology and innovative thinking.
Assessment & Scholarship Rounds
The scholarship programme provided students with an opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge, understanding and ability to apply scientific concepts. The assessment included a preliminary written test and an engaging rapid-fire round covering important topics in science and technology. These rounds were thoughtfully designed to evaluate the students’ subject knowledge, logical reasoning, presence of mind, problem-solving skills and awareness of recent developments in the field.

Assessing core subject knowledge, logical reasoning, and fundamentals in science and technology.
Rapid-Fire Round
Testing presence of mind, rapid analytical problem-solving, and contemporary STEM awareness.
Atmosphere & Participation
The programme created an enthusiastic and intellectually stimulating atmosphere in which students could learn, interact and confidently express their ideas. It also encouraged them to look beyond classroom learning and understand the role of science and technology in everyday life. Their active participation reflected their curiosity, preparedness and enthusiasm for exploring scientific concepts.
Scholarships & Merit Recognition
Based on their performance, deserving students were awarded scholarships and merit certificates in recognition of their academic ability and interest in science and technology. All the participating students were also acknowledged with certificates of participation as an encouragement for their sincere efforts.
